Mediations

Martie Clark, St. Charles County Attorney

AppealsMediation is a way for two parties to come together to try and work out their differences without attorneys and the court’s involvement. Martie has a successful mediation practice that enables parties to come to agreements on their separation so they can proceed with a non-contested divorce. The goal of mediation is to come to an agreement on the parties’ assets, debts, parenting plan, and separation agreement. Mediations involve both parties meeting with Martie at the same time to work out their differences. Martie’s approach to mediation is part therapeutic, part counseling, part financial planning, and part life planning. Each family is different, but we work to find an agreement that everyone can live with. This ultimately leads to greater happiness and success in the divorce process.
